Online Policy

At Stynch.com, we want you to fall in love with your purchase and wear it with pride and excitment! If you find though, you'd like to return your purchase, please note the following terms and conditions ;

Goods and Services

  • Statutory Conditions: are the essential terms of a contract – that is, they ‘break’ the deal between consumer and seller if they are not met.
  • Statutory Warranties: are the essential secondary considerations that are important but do not necessarily ‘make or break’ the deal in the same way as statutory conditions.

Supply of Goods

The statutory conditions require that:

  1. Goods must be of merchantable quality – they must meet a level of quality and performance that would be reasonable to expect, given their price and description. They should also be free from defects that were not obvious at the time of purchase.
  2. Goods must be fit for their intended purpose – they should be suitable for any particular purpose the buyer made to the seller.
  3. The goods must match the description given to the consumer, or the sample shown.
  4. A consumer must receive clear title to the goods – that is, the seller must be entitled to sell the goods.

The statutory warranties require that:

  1. The consumer will enjoy quiet possession of the goods.
  2. The goods are free from any charge or encumbrance not disclosed or know to the consumer.

REFUNDS

There are some circumstances where consumers are entitled to receive a full refund for goods that breach a statutory condition. The law aims to give consumers the opportunity to apply for a refund based on the following;

The statutory conditions are not met;

  • Goods are not of merchantable quality (faulty or damaged)
  • Goods are not fit for their intended purpose (you didn't get the item you purcahsed or its actaully a pant and not a skirt as pictured)
  • Goods do not match the description given to the consumer, or the sample shown. (like the above condition, item was not as descibed within the product description, image does not reflect the item recieved). 
  • A consumer did not receive clear title to the goods (you did not receive a paymnet confirmation from eWay our payment gateway to confirm you have paid for the goods). 
 

If you have experienced one or more of these conditions with your purchase you are entitled to a full refund on the paid price of the goods. This includes;

  • Full priced goods;
  • Sale items that did not meet the above statutory conditions

The refund will be returned to the consumer in the original form of payment provided at the time of purchase within 7 days of delivery of the parcel.

For goods to be refunded;

  • Goods must be accompanied with a completed and legible refund form ,please email us contactus@stynch.com for a copy.
  • Original receipt/order email must be provided
  • Original garment swing tags and hang tape must be intact for goods (unless goods became faulty during wear and can be proven)
  • The cost to return to goods will also be covered within the refund. Consumers must provide a legible copy of the receipt, showing the total cost to send the goods back to us to be entitled to the refund of returned postage costs.
  • Refunds can take up to 10 business days from the time of receipt by stynch.com to be processed, please contact contactus@stynch.com for details on the status of your refund.

Consumers have 10 days to return the goods for refund to stynch.com.

EXCHANGES

There are several circumstances when consumers are not entitled to a remedy from the seller as per the ACT.  Stynch.com reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange on the basis that the consumer;

  • Discovers they can buy the goods or services more cheaply elsewhere
  • Has damaged the goods by using them in a way that was unreasonable.
  • Had the defect drawn to their attention before buying (goods were labelled and sold as seconds, or faulty.)

However if a buyer;

  • Simply changes their mind, decides they do not like the purchase or has no use for it
  • Finds the goods do not fit

This includes;

  • Full priced goods

An exchange may be granted, following the exchange requires listed below are met.  

We do accept exchanges on sale items.  

We do not exchange on exchanges.  

Where an item being exchanged is no longer available due to stock, size or colour availablility,  the customer is required to choose another item on the Stynch.com website to the exact value of the exchaning item as we do not offer credit notes.  

Accessories and jewellery cannot be exchanged, unless they do not meet the original statutory conditions. In that case, either a full refund or exchange will be offered.

Stynch.com do not offer credits for online purchases.

For goods to be exchanged;

  • Exchanges can take up to 10 business days from the time of receipt by Stynch.com to be processed, please contact contactus@stynch.com or call at +918860056001 for details on the status of your exchange.

 The cost to return to goods for exchange is not covered by Stynch.com.

 Consumers have 30 days to return the goods for exchange to Stynch.com.

  • Where represented as ‘we’ this denotes stynch.com and staff.
  • Stynch.com makes every effort to ensure that products are presented on the website as they appear in real life.
  • Stynch.com take no responsibility for colour variations due to computer monitors or different operating systems.
  • Refunds, Exchanges and faulty items are to be determined by the Stynch.com team.
  • As per the ACT, if we determine the garment has been worn or the consumer has damaged the goods by using them in a way that was unreasonable we reserve the right not offer a refund  or exchange.
